The dolphin also helps bring people together and ultimately saves the facility that had originally saved her life.

This movie was AMAZING! The person that said it was too predictable? what happy movie isn't?! The best part is that so much of the movie IS true, of course the characters and events are just to make the movie exciting, but Winter is truly amazing.
We cannot wait to go and visit her in Clearwater FL the next time we vacation. What an inspirational movie for everyone, esp. a person or child with a disability or handicap. At first I was afraid to let my 3 yr old watch it, but they obviously didn't show too much detail with how she became tangled up, it did show some blood and her laying on the beach tangled but my kids were not afraid or upset too much by the images.
Highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a great family movie. We sat and watched as a family and when it was over, we all looked at eachother and played it a second time right in a row.
